Dr. Jermone T. Glenn is the planter and future facilitator of the Revolution Culture Movement in Grand Rapids, MI. He has been blessed with a unique gifting to illustrate and demonstrate the love of God in a provocative fashion that brings consciousness to culture and translates across spiritual, social and secular realms.
A native of Chicago, IL, he received his Minister’s License at the age of 20 and was ordained at 21. He has served as a Youth Pastor responsible for enriching the lives of young people, and as a teacher and curriculum developer for Chicago Public Schools as well as the National Teachers
Academy. He served under the tutelage and mentorship of both Bishop Rory Marshall Sr. who Pastors Nehemiah Urban Church Ministries in Chicago. As well as the legendary Bishop William C. Abney of Bethel Abundant Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Not only has Dr. Glenn served in the church for more than 20 years, he also has made impact in the community by equipping and developing leaders personally and professionally.
Dr. Glenn received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Marketing and Communications from Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. His natural gift for marketing and business is shown through entrepreneurial developments such as JG Innovations and a Southern cuisine restaurant.
Additionally, Dr. Glenn holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from Kayiwa International University’s Graduate School of Theology & Technology, an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from the Latin University of Theology, and award recognition by the Grand Rapids Business Journal as a 40 Under Forty honoree.
Just recently Dr. Glenn was honored to receive the 2014 H.C. Toliver Religious Life Giant Award.
Dr. Glenn recognizes his responsibility to his generation, which is evident through his community contributions in various forms such as an initiator of the Stop It! Community Involvement Initiative and as board member of Urban Ministries Inc., Right To Life and Legacy Ball. He also serves as President of National Heritage Academies River City Scholars School Board. He is a versatile leader, who strives for Kingdom development in all aspects of life.
Dr. Jermone Glenn shares his calling and covenant with his wife, Erica (Ellis) a gifted psalmist and ministry leader. He is a devoted father to Josiah, Mona’e and Jonathan Glenn. They reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
