Do you remember the last time you got really excited about something you knew you should do? God may have placed something in your heart and you got really excited about it. Then, you got to work on it, reality set it, and it wasn’t as easy as you thought it would be. Your fire dwindled and you weren’t sure how to pick it back up again. When this happens, it causes mental blockage and can leave you defeated and wanting to quit.
Trials and tribulations are never comfortable, but they are normal. If God placed something inside you, He has given you the grace to complete it. This doesn’t just include the ability to make it across the finish line, but the strength to run the whole race. You are graced for the sunny days as well as the rainy ones. You are graced when it’s easy and when it’s hard. You are graced when you’re energized and when you feel weary. Don’t let the problems stop you. The Bible is filled with many people who had to endure a number of hardships before they finally saw the dream happen. David knew he would be king, but before that happened, he had many hardships, including escaping Saul, who tried to kill him on numerous occasions. Before Joseph saw his dream come true, he was sold into slavery and throwing in jail. It may feel like you’re in jail right now, but don’t give up. Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” Nothing that comes against you and your assignment will last.
God is backing you up. You serve an undefeated God. You can move beyond the mental blockage to gain momentum. Don’t accept defeat. If you know it is something that God called you to do, He will not let you get defeated by it. The same anointing that was on Jesus when He walked the earth is on you.
He’s graced you for this time. You are here to make change. You couldn’t have been born at another time under any other circumstances. If God is for you, who can be against you? He is for you! He’s fighting for you! You will win!
